Who We Are.
Bethel Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church ministering in Minto and the Grand Lake area.  We believe in the truth of Scripture, the deity of Jesus Christ, the necessity of salvation by faith alone, the demonstration of Christian faith by love and good works, and the pursuit of holiness by separation from worldliness and false religion.  In all things we strive to be fundamental in doctrine and Christlike in practice.

Our Message… The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

1. Nothing is more important than your spiritual life.

“What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

2. Everyone has sinned against God.
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

3. Sin brings God’s just condemnation.
“The wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23).  The penalty for sin is eternal separation from God in Hell, of which Jesus Himself warned.

4. God sent His only Son, Jesus, to provide forgiveness and joy.

“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners…” (1Timothy 1:15). Christ died in our place to save us from sin’s penalty.  “Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18).

5. You must repent and trust Christ as your personal Saviour.
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19). “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). God invites you to turn from the deceitful promises of sin, and call upon Jesus to save you and grant you peace, joy, and forgiveness.  Your good works cannot save you – but Jesus can and will when you accept Him as Saviour.
